Located on the eastside of Atlanta, the neighborhood is steeped in history, very well known, and home to many well-known attractions, such as Atlanta’s famous Ponce City Market and Atlanta’s renowned Eastside Beltline Trail, which makes its way through the area.

The town was the birthplace of Martin Luther King Jr. and steeped in Atlantan history. Start your trip at Ponce City Market and make your way to the Eastside Beltline Trail. Alongside the trail are numerous restaurants, shops, and fantastic artwork, which demonstrates the community’s zeal. Historic Fourth Ward Park is a must-see, offering many popular events such as sweet Auburn Historic District’s Springfest, the South’s most prominent African American heritage festival, and the National Black Arts Festival. The food is another big draw to the neighborhood and if you love live music while you eat, go to the Masquerade.
