Atlanta Fireworks Guide for July 4th!

July 4th is just around the corner! We have scouted out the best Atlanta spots showcasing fireworks!
 

Georgia World Congress Center Authority’s Fourth of July Celebration

Gates open at 6 p.m.  Free Admission, Parking $5 in advance or $10 day-of
 
Due to construction, one of Atlanta’s favorite firework shows and the Southeast’s largest pyrotechnic display has moved from Centennial Olympic Park to the International Plaza for the 2018 celebration. Found in the green space between Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Philips Arena, arrive by 7 p.m. for musical entertainment and 9:45 p.m. for a dazzling fireworks display.
 
**Just a reminder: The Buckhead fireworks display at Lenox Square has been indefinitely canceled and combined with the celebration hosted by the Georgia World Congress Center.
 

Sandy Spring’s Stars and Stripes Celebration

Music begins at 7:30 pm  Free Admission
 
Taking place at the Concourse Lawn, the celebration promises to light up the sky in between the King and Queen buildings for the sixth year in a row. Grab a picnic basket and blanket to enjoy a performance from the band Shiloh, but make sure to leave your pet, grill, and any alcohol at home. Fireworks will illuminate the skyline beginning at 9:45 pm.
 

Fireworks in Fourth Ward

Festivities begin at 5 p.m.  Free Admission
 
The first-ever Fireworks in Fourth Ward will take place across the street from Ponce City Market at Historic Fourth Ward Park. There’s something for everyone from face painting to food trucks, corn holes, and beer and wine tents. Fireworks will take place after sunset and attendees are encouraged to bike, walk, or rideshare as parking in the area is limited.
 

Decatur’s Pied Piper Parade

Parade and events begin at 6 p.m.  Free Admission
 
Come watch the patriotic floats pass by in downtown Decatur or join the parade yourself! The community parade is followed by The Concert on the Square at 7 p.m. featuring the Callanwalde Concert Band with fireworks capping off the night once the sun goes down.
 

Marietta’s Fourth in the Park

Festival and parade begin at 10 a.m.  Free Admission
 
Marietta’s Freedom Parade begins the day pulling in a crowd of over 30,000 spectators. Events last throughout the afternoon and evening including over 80 arts and craft vendors, museum tours, live music, games, concessions, and restaurants.  The day is completed with a fireworks show around 9:30 p.m.
 

Stone Mountain Park Fantastic Fourth Celebration

Park opens at 10:30 a.m. Free admission with $20 parking, All-Attraction Pass $34.95
 
Voted one of Reader’s Digest choices for “America’s Most Spectacular Fourth of July Fireworks” and the “Best Place to See Fireworks in Atlanta” by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the laser show displayed in front of the 825-foot mountain face ending with a fireworks finale attracts thousands to Stone Mountain Park each year. The show is repeated from July 1st through the 7th at 9:30 p.m. for a full week of celebrations.
