St. Phillips Cathedral will be hosting a series of exciting events to benefit Refugee Family Services (RFS). On Sunday, January 27th the festivities kick off with the Tour of Homes. The tour takes place in some of Atlanta’s most distinctive neighborhoods, spotlighting the work of several well-known designers, architects, and craftsmen. Beginning again on Thursday, January 31st, and going through Sunday, February 3rd, the Tour of Homes will be accompanied by The 42nd Annual Cathedral Antiques Show. With the striking interior of St. Phillips Cathedral as the backdrop, the show will feature nearly 30 highly respected antique dealers from around the country, offering a wide variety of stunning pieces from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. Guests can browse through exquisite porcelain, furniture, jewelry, rugs, art, silver and much more. The Tour of Homes and The Cathedral Antique Show will be joined by several other smaller events including a Miles Redd Lecture on Thursday, January 31st, and Drinks & Antiques on Friday, February 1st. New York designer, Miles Redd, is one of the leaders of the pack in the design world. He’ll be sharing his perspective and offering advice on the best way to decorate with antiques. Drinks & Antiques is aimed at a younger audience of antique collectors, providing a great opportunity for an evening with friends to enjoy a glass of wine and hor d’oeuvres while exploring the show.
