A graduate of the University of Georgia, Tara has been a resident of Atlanta for the last 31 years. Growing up with a father in Civil Service, she spent most of her childhood moving frequently with most of her time spent in Germany. She is committed to helping others make a smooth transition whether across town or across the country. Active in the Atlanta Community, she has been Chair of both the Hope and Will Ball for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and The Beastly Feast benefiting Zoo Atlanta. She and her husband, Mark, have also served in numerous volunteer positions during their daughters’ time at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School.
In 2016, Tara co-founded the Go 2 Girls, an “on-demand” personal assistant service designed to help busy clients with a variety of tasks such as holiday decorating, gift buying and delivery, floral design, and event planning. The company evolved into organizing, staging, decluttering, and helping clients get ready to move and then get settled in their new homes. She is committed to blending this expertise and a high level of personal service to her clients at Beacham. While the process of buying and selling a home is different for everyone, we are all looking for the perfect place where “our story” will unfold. Buying a home is one of the single most important purchases we can make. Your home is where you will close the door at the end of the day- it is your refuge and sanctuary. It is a place where we celebrate the milestones in our lives with friends and family and it is an investment in the future. Tara and the entire team at Beacham believe that homes are bought and sold based not only upon the traditional use of technology, but more importantly, it is about relationships built and kept, upholding the highest integrity, and providing the utmost dedication to professionalism and personal service. Being a long-time resident of Atlanta enables Tara to share her knowledge of neighborhoods, schools, shopping, and restaurants. Tara is excited to bring her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for homes to your home-buying process – whether it is helping first-time homebuyers navigate the process successfully or providing help in the luxury market, Tara can help with it all.
Tara’s husband, Mark, is an Energy Developer with Nextera and they have two daughters – Sarah and Meredith. Sarah is a second grader teacher at The Schenck School, and Meredith, is an orthopedic surgical rep for Stryker. In her free time, Tara enjoys running, reading, traveling, and spending time with her French Bulldog – Clark Gable.
