A native of Nassau County, New York, Eric moved to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech in 1997. He started as an Architecture major, transferring to the Building Construction program, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction.
Eric worked at Delta Air Lines, both full-time and part-time while completing his degree at Georgia Tech. He served as a police officer in the Georgia Tech Police Department and runs a firearms training / security consulting company. Eric joined Beacham and Company, REALTORS® so he can utilize his building and construction background and love for homes with his clients in the Atlanta market.
Eric has lived in Atlanta for nearly 22 years and has had the opportunity to watch Atlanta’s growth after the Summer Olympic Games. He still enjoys Atlanta’s beautiful homes, rich in history and momentum. Eric’s professionalism, honesty and knowledge of metro Atlanta’s geography, school districts and communities make him a valuable asset to his clients.
Eric currently lives in Buckhead with his wife Junko, a Delta Air Lines flight attendant, and son Christian. Christian attends Sutton Middle School and plays soccer at SSA Northside. A big kid at heart, Eric loves planes, trains, automobiles – and guns. During his free time, Eric enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling the world with his family.
During the second quarter of 2019, Beacham & Company, REALTORS® agents and staff raised funds for Make-A-Wish® Georgia, donating a total of $22,650 to the non-profit between April 1st and June 30th.
Make-A-Wish® Georgia will use the money raised to ‘grant wishes’ to children facing critical illnesses. Since the chapter’s inception in 1995, it has impacted a staggering 8,000 young lives, granting once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and experiences to “wish kids” and their families. Childhood illnesses can be heartbreaking and daunting for children and their families to endure; the mission of Make-A-Wish® Georgia is to bring light to these situations that seem unbearably dark, and to provide each child with a reason to keep fighting.
For some wish kids, this may look like a “wish to go” (for example, to Disney World). For others, it could be a “wish to have” (a treehouse, a puppy…), a “wish to meet” (perhaps their favorite athlete, actor, or singer), or even a “wish to be” (i.e. an astronaut for a day).
Make-A-Wish® Georgia was chosen as this quarter’s Beacham Gives Back beneficiary in part due to a matching opportunity which was presented by the organization’s national chapter. Because Beacham & Company, REALTORS® agents and staff raised more than $20,000, the Make-A-Wish® national chapter matched Beacham’s contribution 2-1, resulting in an astounding total of $67,950 entering Make-A-Wish® Georgia’s coffers!
This September, Beacham & Company, REALTORS® agents and staff will have the exciting opportunity to actually meet one of the children whose wishes their donations made possible, and to participate in a “wish reveal,” during which the child will learn that their wish is going to be granted. Stay tuned for more at that time – we can’t wait!
If you would like to submit a charity for consideration, you can email us at email@example.com. Please keep in mind, that must be approved by our agents and should give away a vast majority of the money they raise to the causes they support. If you know a Beacham agent, we encourage you to contact them directly about participation in this program.

With the increased demand for luxury real estate in Buckhead, construction has been booming, there’s no doubt about it. Fortune 500 companies are flocking to Atlanta, more specifically tech startups. In addition, we have become the “Hollywood of the South” for movie and TV production ever since previous governor, Sonny Perdue, signed a ‘generous’ tax inventive for film production. Atlanta has since served as a music production hub for decades, but now Hollywood actors and actresses are also beginning to make this city their home. Atlanta is rapidly solidifying its place as an elite city.
Further defining Atlanta as a luxurious location is the opening of a Nobu hotel and restaurant in Phipps Plaza. Nobu Hotels is parterning with Simon Property Group to create and launch the hotel and restaurant in this already mixed-use development. Phipps is a conglomeration of couture designer store brands with delectable eateries to match. It’s hard to imagine a more sophisticated center, but the introduction of Nobu will create an even more lavish destination. Nobu is a luxury Japanese brand whose hotels and restaurants can be found in places like London, Malibu, Ibiza, and New York City. It’s almost a status symbol for the top notch cities of the world – and now Atlanta is joining the ranks. This Phipps Plaza expansion will also include a brand new Life Time® Athletic and a 12-story Class A office building with three-story lower level parking garage.
The first phase is set to open beginning of Summer 2021.

Brookwood Hills is one of Atlanta’s oldest upscale neighborhoods. It sits just across from Piedmont Hospital, between Peachtree Street and Interstate 85. Once you turn off Peachtree into the neighborhood, you will find some Atlanta’s most charming historic homes.
This designer 4 sided brick home boasts a slate roof, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 renovated baths with Carrara marble and heated floors in the master. If you’ve always adored throwing parties and never thrown a summer soirée, now is the perfect opportunity! Whether it’s a chill hangout night or an all out party, we have put together some tips, decorating ideas and drink recipes so you can pull off a killer summer party.
| FLOWER POWER | party in bloom
A summer soiree isn’t complete without an abundance of flowers. There is no need to spend a fortune at the florists for these, hit Trader Joe’s or a Farmers Market early in the morning to get the best of the bunch for cheap. Wrapping flowers and fillers around a stick and hanging above the table is a great idea, and you can easily find a branch in your own backyard.
Instead of doing the basic flower in vase, go for something more creative that your guests are sure to remember -like in a basket, a non-traditional container or simply just a pretty flower arrangement by itself.
| FOOD | perfect pairings
Platters and light bites are your best friend. Using wooden boards and large plates you already have, fill them up with your favorite prosciutto and salami cuts, array of cheeses, nuts, fig jam and honeycomb. Cutting up different types of fruit and arranging them by color adds a fun decorative element to the food. You can find beautiful reclaimed boards here.
| DRINKS | beat the heat
As the temperature climbs, so does the need for a chilled cocktail. When throwing a party you want to have the essentials; gin, vodka, bourbon and tequila. Cheers to summer cocktail recipes like blackberry gin tonics, blood orange citrus and blueberry lime spritzers. Click on the photos to view the recipe!

| TABLE & SEATING |
For a smaller space, a long skinny table, or picnic table would fit best, giving ample seating room and also a lot of space to display food. Setting up a long coffee table, or even two, and incorporating moroccan seat pillows on the grass would create a fantastic ambiance. Add some string lights to either the trees or terrace roof to make it cozy as the sun goes down.

With this being the 50th race, there is extra hype surrounding this event, plus a lot of exciting commemorative events and promotions. Beloved Atlanta sports teams like the Braves and our Championship-winning ATL United FC offered discounted tickets and merchandise to race participants. For those more interested in indulging in other parts of Atlanta culture (aka food+drinks), Ponce City Market is offering discounts in tons of their stores and eateries to runners who show their bib the day of the race. Ever since the beginning, this race it has tied the Buckhead and Midtown communities together.

The 60,000 participants trekking from Buckhead’s Lenox Mall all to way to Midtown’s Piedmont Park will attract an even larger spectating crowd. The previous years average around 150,000 people. Great places to watch the runners are the start and finish of the course, the Peachtree Battle Shopping Center, Piedmont Hospital, The Cathedral of St. Phillip, and other local dining or beverage spots. No matter which location you choose, make sure you get there early, this year’s turnout is sure to be HUGE!

Go Beyond the Bookshelf
A house isn’t a home without books. You might be surprised with how creative you can get! You can add them to almost any surface from coffee tables and bookcases to chairs and bar carts. Books are a large part of creating texture and adding warmth to a home.
Complete a coffee table with a stack of eye-catching books. Make the collection interesting enough for your guests to want to flip through and engage with your personal interests; it’s a great conversation starter! A spare chair or unused bench can immediately become ‘purposeful’ when piled with a stack of pretty books. Color coding books on a bookshelf is a fabulous way to add a pop of color to any space! One non-traditional spin on a bookshelf is turning them backwards and showing the pages instead of the spine. This creates a cohesive neutral color palette on your shelf.
How will you decorate with books?
