For a more exclusive golfing experience, the prestigious Cherokee Town and Country Club is also just a few minutes away. For cultural experiences, Buckhead’s famed Chastain Amphitheater is the perfect place to spend a summer evening listening to music, or you can head a few minutes south into Midtown to see a play at the legendary Fox Theatre and walk the grounds at the beautiful Atlanta Botanical Gardens. North Atlanta High School which has made a name for itself as one of the top high schools in the United States, sits to the east of the neighborhood on Northside Drive. Private schools located within two miles of Castlewood include Pace Academy, Westminster Schools, The Heiskell School, and the Atlanta Girls School.
