Fourth of July rain or shine!

Independence_DayWhile it would be nice to spend the anniversary of America’s Independence basking in the glory and the sunshine, the weather forecast  doesn’t look like it’s in Atlanta’s favor. However, this city is not letting a little rain put a damper on their fun. Here are some fun things going, tomorrow, rain or shine.

360 Bowling for The Fourth: It’s bowling – with a twist. What’s the twist? It’s everything entertainment under one roof: state-of-the-art lanes, floor to ceiling video screens, casual-dining and your favorite local hangout with friendly servers asking “how’s that 10-lb ball treating you?

AMC Phipps Plaza: If you haven’t been to Phipps Plaza’s new and improved movie theater, you’re missing out. Whether you’re seeing the next Academy Award winning film or a summer sleeper, you’ll have the same amount of fun. The concessions are incredible! They have flatbread, Philly cheese steaks, chicken fingers, frozen yogurt with tons of topping options, cakes, coffee drinks, and your classic movie theater snacks. There’s also a fully stocked bar. That should really get you into the movie watching spirit (pun intended)! Then, for the grand finale: the seats! They actually recline. It might be the perfect day for a double feature!

Lloyd’s Rockstead Revue – Live Music at Trader Vic’s: Well, if you can’t enjoy a Mai Tai at the pool this 4th of July, what about at an underground tiki bar? Trader Vic’s in the bottom of the Hilton Hotel will be putting on a little party of their own with live music and great specials!

Red White & Brew (GA Aquarium): Celebrate the Fourth of July with a bang and a splash at Georgia Aquarium’s third consecutive Red White & Brew event! The celebration will be held in Georgia Aquarium’s magnificent Oceans Ballroom and on the Aquarium’s parking garage rooftop with the city’s best view of the Centennial Olympic Park firework show. Spend summer’s favorite holiday sampling great beer, listening to live music from Yacht Rock Schooner and enjoying a classic All-American barbeque buffet provided by Wolfgang Puck Catering. This event is for ages 21 and up. Tickets are $55 per person in advance and $65 per person on July 3 and the day of the event. Tickets will go quickly so order yours soon!
