After an 11 year run, Music Midtown, one of Atlanta’s most highly-anticipated festivals took a six year hiatus. And while it may have been gone, it certainly was not forgotten. In 2011, the event returned better than ever, jam packed with some of the world’s most talented artists! After ticket sales blew up on the day they were released, event holders were already raving about the next one. Well, it’s that time again. Beginning on Friday, September 21st, Piedmont Park will host this two day event, Music Midtown 2012. This year, the event’s two stages will be filled with some of the most well-known musicians in the business.
The lineup includes Foo Fighters, Van Hunt, TI, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, The Avett Brothers, Pearl Jam, Ludacris, Girl Talk, Florence and The Machine, Civil Twilight, LP, O’Brother, plus more acts to be announced!
When: The festival begins at 4pm on Friday, September 21st and goes through Saturday, September 22nd
