Buckhead Tour Of Homes Raised $7,500 For Special Olympics Georgia

Atlanta, GA – October 14, 2010 – The first Buckhead Tour of Homes, provided by Beacham & Company Realtors, recently raised $7,500 in just four hours. Proceeds will help provide year-round sports training and competition to 23,078 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

The event showcased five of the affluent area’s most exclusive homes on Oct. 10. More than 280 residents, traveling from as far as Douglasville and Macon, walked through homes including the ‘Pink Castle’ on Pinestream Road near West Paces Ferry and a home reminiscent of The Sound of Music on Davis Drive near Northside Drive. Potential home buyers should contact Beacham for more information about each of the homes on the market.

Beacham Realtor Linda S. Williams, who helped organize the event, said the tour was a huge success in many ways. And the weather was perfect.

“People were able to view incredible homes and money was raised to support the deserving athletes. What a beautiful way to spend a sunny Fall day!” Williams said.

Glennis Beacham’s listing on Pinestream was a crowd favorite.

Nan Haverty’s listing on Foxcroft was featured on the Tour of Homes
