Beacham & Company recently held its second annual pool party and barbecue for company agents, employees and their families. The party was held on Aug. 9 atthe Buckhead home of company founder Glennis Beacham.
The growth of Beacham & Company over the last year was evident as Beacham hosted three times more family members than she did at the 2008 party. Beacham said the children of the company’s agents and staff make the party a special event.
“It is so cool to watch everyone’s kids playing together,” Beacham said. “It just shows that we all feel this company is one big family.”
“There are photos we have taken the last two years of all the children jumping in the pool at the same time. It’s fun to compare the two photos. There are a lot of new faces, and the children who were in last year’s photo have grown a lot in just a year!”
The party was the inspiration of Beacham’s daughter Blayne Beacham, who is Director of Creative Services in the marketing department at Beacham & Company.
“I really wanted to have this party because I just love the kids so much, but now they look forward to it just as much as I do,” Blayne said. “It’s become a great company tradition.”
