Edgewood is a neighborhood located on the East side of Atlanta three miles from downtown. Edgewood was being created in the early 1900’s it was geared more towards blue collar workers which is why there are less Victorian architecture homes that are common in Kirkwood and Candler Park. Edgewood’s neighborhoods are composed primarily of craftsman bungalows.

Life in Edgewood
Edgewood is not your typical Atlanta neighborhood. Don’t be fooled by the Victorian style homes from the nearby neighborhoods. Edgewood’s bungalow-style residences and abundance of “mom and pop” stores have seen many hipsters and new families move to Edgewood. The neighborhood’s proximity to nearby business districts, public transportation and outdoor trails are also a few of the major amenities Edgewood has to offer.
