Brookhaven started as Atlanta’s first country club neighborhood, but in 2012 it became a city of just under 50,000 people in Atlanta’s eastern neighbor, DeKalb County. It sits conveniently between Interstates 285 and 85 and is just minutes from Buckhead and Midtown, as well as other suburbs, like Sandy Springs and Dunwoody. Residents love its affluent lifestyle, beautiful historic homes and tree-lined streets, and proximity to shopping, dining, the arts, and other activities.
