Vice President and Managing Broker
Dac Carver joined Beacham & Company in June 2007 as the company’s Vice President and Managing Broker. A 20-year veteran of residential real estate, Carver is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company including marketing, relocation, e-commerce, business development, and management of the sales team. Under Carver’s leadership, Beacham & Company has grown from five agents to more than 100 while annual dollar volume sold now exceeds $600 million.
Prior to joining Beacham & Company, Carver was the Director of Marketing and New Home Services for one of the largest real estate companies in the United States. For seven years, he directed the company’s corporate marketing efforts and managed a team of more than 35 agents who specialized in new home sales. Many of his marketing endeavors won local and national awards while he simultaneously grew the new homes division to one of the largest third-party new homes divisions in metro Atlanta.
Carver also spent three years as the marketing and creative director for the developer of the largest master-planned community in the United States during a time of expansion into several new markets. He began his real estate career in property management in Charleston, SC.
Carver is an Atlanta native who was raised on a farm 25 miles north of the city in Forsyth County. His family began selling real estate in Atlanta in the 1970s and he is second-generation real estate broker. He graduated from Christ School, a college preparatory school near Asheville, NC and earned a B.A. in English from the University of South Carolina in 1991. He and his wife, Shannon, have two school-age sons.
