Stock the Bar

During the holidays the booze is flowing, especially with parties in full swing. The key bottles to keep stocked are:

Must have mixers:

  • Eggnog
  • Pomegranate Juice
  • Ginger Beer
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Tonic

Seasonal Sangria: 2 bottles of Chardonnay, 1/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup sparkling apple cider, 1/4 cup cranberries, 1 apple chopped, 3 rosemary sprigs

 

Apple Cider: Combine apple cider, cinnamon, star anise + cloves. Bring to boil, remove from heat and allow spices to sit for 10-15 minutes. Strain spices, stir in honey, add whiskey- ENJOY!

 

Spiked Hot Chocolate: 2oz. of semisweet chocolate chips, 6oz. of hot milk, 1 1/2oz. of either Khalua, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Peppermint Schnapps, or Bourbon.

Holiday Treats

Everyone loves a colorful platter! Add your favorite fruits, cookies and dip with some green fir leaves for an added holiday aesthetic. Pound cake and gingerbread cookies are always loved by guests. For the kids cupcakes are a must!

Adding a special touch to any wrapped present is a must. You can find unique handmade gift paper on Etsy along with whatever bow or ribbon you desire. Adding a piece of nature to the bow gives it a unique look, either a small pine cone, short fir branch or a piece of holly.
