Beacham remains only Atlanta firm to map weekend open houses on website

Beacham & Company, REALTORS® was the first and remains the only Atlanta website to exclusively map open houses – something even Zillow doesn’t do.

Any consumer who visits the Beacham website or the Beacham app can instantly see open houses plotted on a Google Maps-rendered window that makes navigating from one open house to another easier and saves valuable time when the window of open house hours can be small or overlap. By contrast, Zillow only plots homes for sale on a map; consumers must click through each listing to find out if the listing is being held open or not and if so, when.

The Beacham open house page is one of the most popular pages on the Beacham website, which, along with other Beacham marketing outlets, captured more than 1.3 million views over the last 30 days ending April 22. The Beacham app can be download here.

Open houses remain a very important part of the real estate sales process. Buyers who visit open houses become more knowledgeable about home prices. A seller who opens their home for an open house gives buyers the opportunity to see a house without having to arrange for a formal showing. From an agent perspective, nothing can take the place of a buyer visiting a home in person to determine property condition, room dimensions, lot topography, neighborhood feel and more. In fact, nearly three out of four real estate agents believe open houses are an indispensable part of the business according to the National Association of REALTORS.
