Beacham & Company, Realtors said good-bye to Jim Warwick, one of Beacham’s earliest agent hires, at a going away party at his favorite restaurant on June 10.
Warwick is moving to Beaufort, S.C. to care for family. Warwick joined Beacham in 2007 after 17 years at one of Atlanta’s largest real estate firms. In his first 10 years in real estate, Warwick earned the Atlanta Board of Realtors Phoenix Award for ten consecutive years with more than $1 million in sales. Warwick was also a top ten agent in his former office and a top 10 agent upon moving to Beacham.
Warwick was born in Charlotte, N.C. but grew up in Atlanta. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina where he was a classmate of fellow Beacham agent Anne Powers. Warwick also earned a masters degree from Georgia State University. Prior to his real estate career, Warwick worked in marketing for The Cola-Cola Company for 15 years.
Beacham & Company founder Glennis Beacham worked in the same office with Warwick for 13 years at another real estate firm and has known Warwick for more than 20 years.
“I am so thankful for Jim being in my life all of these years,” Beacham said. “He is a true friend and the finest of Southern gentlemen.”
Dac Carver, Vice President and Managing Broker of Beacham & Company, credited Warwick for his role in the success of Beacham & Company.
“Jim is so incredibly kind and generous with his time, knowledge and compliments,” Carver said. “He was instrumental in creating the helpful, supportive atmosphere we have at Beacham & Company. We are disappointed that he is leaving but are very thankful for his contributions to this company and continued friendship.”
