Young Architects: Designing a Future Exhibit

The chances that today’s most renowned architects designed their first buildings with the help of a T-square or a computer program like AutoCAD are slim to none. It’s probably safer to bet that their first tools consisted of things like Alphabet blocks, Lincoln Logs and LEGOS.  If your child’s last building block construction looked like a model of the next Seattle Space Needle, this is the event for you. Give them a chance to enhance their skills at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center through January 19th by bringing them to Young Architects: Designing a Future. The exhibit, designed by the Children’s Museum of Cleveland, which features the work of famous architects, will provide hands-on interactive learning experiences where children will become architects. The show will be divided into three sections- Live, Work, and Play- with each area highlighting one or more renowned architects accompanied by photographs of their iconic buildings.
