Brookhaven Dines In: Beacham Agents Support the Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House is one of Atlanta’s most celebrated charities. Since their doors opened in 1979, they have hosted more than 40,000 families of ill and injured children and continue to do so. Not only have they offered a safe haven for these families, they have also kept them together, which is one of their largest goals. Without the selfless commitment of all of the Atlanta volunteers and donors, the House’s success would be impossible.

Many Atlanta neighborhoods believe in the mission of the Ronald Mcdonald House and hold fundraisers, events, car washes, bake sales, picnics, and more to benefit the cause. Beacham’s very own mother-daughter team, Ruth Skogstad and Kristen Sodemann, are major sponsors of an upcoming event that will be devoted to supporting the Ronald McDonald House. If you drive through Brookhaven, you are sure to see Beacham-blue signs freckled throughout the neighborhood with Ruth and Kristen’s names posted on them. Both women are Brookhaven residents and make a huge effort to participate in community events and to support local charities. This fall, they will join several others to sponsor the 4th Annual Brookhaven Dines In Event.

Set in Atlanta’s historic Brookhaven neighborhood, dinners are held in several show-stopping houses. This year is no different. Beginning on October 14th and lasting through November 2nd, Brookhaven Dines In will take over the taste buds of several Atlantans, bringing in chefs from some of Atlanta’s most raved about restaurants. Friends and families who participate will enjoy a delicious evening with dinner and cocktails to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House.
