Beacham & Company Sponsors Aso Fall Patron Party

ATLANTA – Beacham & Company, Realtors® recently sponsored the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Fall Patron Party to honor corporate sponsors and special contributors.
More than 125 benefactors and friends of the ASO attended the annual precursor to the Atlanta Symphony Ball, which will be held Nov. 22 at the InterContinental Hotel Buckhead. The Symphony Ball is the ASO’s premier fundraising event with all proceeds benefiting the ASO’s Learning Community programs, including the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Talent Development Program
The party was held at 3400 Northside Drive, which is currently on the market with Glennis Beacham of Beacham & Company. The home is ensconced on approximately four acres in the heart of Buckhead and was the 2004 Decorator’s Show House. The home’s architecture evokes a tropical resort, as do the amenities which include a rear stone terrace that overlooks a private lake, gradual entry infinity pool and spa, Balinese tiki lounge, and a barbecue hut with flat screen TV, large dining area, sound system, and fire pit. The seven bedroom, seven bath home is currently listed at $7.5 million.
The 2008 Symphony Ball will recreate the era of early 20th century “American Splendor” and celebrate the richly diverse orchestral music of American composers. In the essence of cultural diversity, guests will enjoy a colorful selection of music performed by the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to bid in a live auction on luxury items. The evening will conclude with dancing to the Del Baroni swing band and the sounds that have shaped and inspired the American spirit.

This year’s Ball honors Mrs. Azira Hill for her unflagging efforts and selfless contributions to ASO’s Talent Development Program (TDP). In its landmark 15th year, TDP continues to cultivate musically gifted Atlanta area African-American and Latino youth through instruction, mentoring, and performance opportunities. As a long-time board member and patron of the ASO, Mrs. Hill’s leadership of TDP has made great strides in diversifying and enhancing the face of future American orchestras.
