Beacham & Company, REALTORS® once again set company records for homes sold and dollar volume sold in November with a 42.5% increase in dollar volume sold compared to November 2013 and a whopping 71.8% increase in homes sold. In the process, Beacham broke its annual record for number of sales before the end of the month.
The firm’s success in November stands in stark contrast to the rest of the market, which experienced a 15.2% decline in number of home sales from November 2013 and a 1.5% decline in dollar volume sold – although those figures are expected to improve after some of end-of-the-month sales are reported.
For the year, the number of closings in Atlanta fell back into negative territory compared to 2013. Until more November closings are reported, the number of sales in Atlanta is 77 less than this time last year.
“We are proud to be able to say we’ve grown our sales every year since starting in the company in 2006,” said Dac Carver, Vice President and Managing Broker for Beacham & Company. “We expect to set records again in 2015 because we expect more normal market conditions than at any other time since the financial crisis in 2008.”
